REGULATION
1. The Competition will be held in the period 3-13 oct 2011.
2. The competition is open to Romanian and foreign violinists aged up to 25 years.
3. All documents will be submitted no later then 10 September 2011 on the address:

4. The admission fee of 50 Euro will be sent no later then 15 september 2011 in the following account opened at
RAIFFEISEN BANK:
RO84RZBR0000060003794491 (Euro).
5. The order of admittance in the Competition will be established in the presence of all the participants, by draw.
6. The contestants have to observe the list of pieces mentioned in the application form.
7. The contestants have to perform by heart.
8. The organizers put at contestants' disposal two official Competition accompanists and rehearsal rooms, free of charge.
9. All the auditions are opened to the public.
10. The jury of the competition will be formed by eminent musicians well-known all over the world.
11. All Jury's decisions will be final and irrevocable.
12. The contestants dropped out from the Competition can ask the members of the jury for explanations.
13. The contestants are assured accommodation and meal free of charge, during their participation in the Competition.
14. The contestants' accompanists and companions will pay for their accommodation and meal.
THE PRIZES
1st prize - 3,000 Euro;
2nd prize – 2,000 Euro;
3rd prize – 1,000 Euro
4th prize – 500 Euro.
Special prizes may be awarded, too.
Each contestant will receive a participation diploma.
The laureates of the competition will be programmed in the Musical Seasons of concerts and recitals of “Moldova” Philharmonic Orchestra Iasi.
TERMS OF PARTICIPATING
1. The contestants must submit the following documents:
A. the application form that will include:
1. full name, date and place of birth;
2. present address, phone number, fax number, e-mail;
3. studies and the names of the guidance professors;
4. the name of the accompanist or the option for the official Competition accompanist;
5. the repertoire chosen for all the competitions auditions;
6. the date of arrival in Iaşi;
7. the number of the companions.
